Why is tartar removed?

Tartar is actually plaque saturated and petrified with bacteria. They cause inflammation, death and absorption in the gums and then in the bone tissues as well. The first symptom is bleeding gums, then loosening of the teeth, and later their loss. These can be prevented by regular and perfect depuration and gum treatment.
