𝗡𝗮𝗽𝗶 𝗙𝘂̈𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗞𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗸𝗼𝘀Although we didn't become vets, we just brought you an interesting fact from the animal world: Did you know? The anatomy of giraffes hides many interesting facts, such as the fact that they only have lower teeth. They have no incisors in their upper jaw, instead they have a hard fibrous plate to help them tear leaves. This adaptation evolved during evolution to enable them to feed efficiently on the leaves of tall trees. And their lower incisors are sharp and strong, which help them to cut and chew leaves. Interestingly, giraffes also actively use their tongues, which can be up to 45-50 cm long, when feeding. Their tongue is a bluish-black colour that protects them from sunburn. This special tooth structure and long tongue allow giraffes to efficiently access the food they need.A set of teeth?! Hm... we specialise in two sets of teeth, but we like our giraffes with one set!
One of our favourite days: 22 April is Earth Day. We love you, Earth, we protect you!
🦷Fürstner kisokos🦷In the 1900s, the use of glass in dentistry revolutionised the industry. Glass ionomer dental fillings, first introduced in 1965, offer an excellent fit to the tooth and are biocompatible. The fluoric acids in glass ionomer fillings react with the calcium in the tooth to form a strong bond. They also have antimicrobial properties, preventing tooth decay. This innovation has rapidly spread into dental practices, facilitating dental treatments and improving patients' quality of life.Read a comprehensive article on the history and methods of glassmaking in the March 2024 issue of National Georgraphic:https://ng.24.hu/

They are the fish of Fürstner Dentistry. It is very important that they swim in water with the right PH! The PH of the mouth is also very important, 7.2. For example, if you put sugar in your body, it will create an acidic chemistry in the mouth, which will lead directly to the dissolution of the enamel. The prescription is simple: avoid acidic foods and brush your teeth half an hour after eating.
Dear Ladies! Pink October! Screening - screening - screening! And visit us twice a year for a dental check-up! Come on, ladies!
We are looking forward to welcoming all our patients in 2023! May it be the year of health and care! With our expertise and friendly atmosphere we will do our best to contribute to this! We wish you all a very Happy New Year!
Happy Holidays to all our Patients! This Christmas was especially important for all of us, because the father of the Chief Physician, Dr. Fürstner Sr., celebrated with us again. From 2 January, we welcome you to the practice with more new features. For example, there will be dental hygiene packages for adults and children. Happy Holidays to you all!❤️☃️😇
Never worry about a tooth shortage! Whatever the cause. We'll tell you briefly why. The tooth is an integral part of our jaw. If there is no tooth root in the jawbone, the bone and gum where the tooth is located will begin to deteriorate, or simply put: become depleted. 😢 Another danger of missing chewing teeth, for example, is damage to the jaw joint and muscles, as our two jaws are held at an appropriate distance by our chewing teeth. Without back molars, this delicate, complex system starts to fall apart: the existing teeth have to take the extra chewing load. They cannot do this without damage. Front teeth shift. And the onset of other symptoms: neck, shoulder and back pain, migraines, adds to the trouble. 🦷 Dental implant placement and bone grafting is now an extensive and successful technology. Our oral surgeons, Dr. József Fürstner and Dr. Gergely Kosik, have vast experience performing implant surgeries with excellent results. Do not hesitate to contact them! 🥰 In addition, we perform the surgeries with the help of smiling assistants like our head nurse Laura Látos, seen here with Dr. Kosik.
The teeth of rabbits are in growth throughout their lives, and natural wear is ensured by a fibre-rich diet. Nevertheless, they may need dental treatment. Well, unfortunately, we can't solve the dental problems of rabbits with ears, but from 0-99 years of age, thanks to our specialists covering all branches of dentistry, they can come to us with any dental problem. It's true, this time only after Easter, but next time it's Tuesday 19th. Until then, we wish all our patients a happy Easter. Eat plenty of healthy, fibrous food during the holidays. For example, carrots, like the bunny in the picture. 😍🦷🐰 And we wish you peace, so that every holiday can be a holiday indeed!
Today is World Water Day. Staying properly hydrated is crucial for a healthy body and a healthy mouth. We welcome you to an interesting research article (Dentalnews) on the consumption of bottled and tap water. "We know that staying hydrated is important for all physiological functions and for the well-being of the body, including oral hygiene. What about water quality? Does a particular type or any water benefit our bodies from an oral health perspective? High acidity The two extremes of water's value are alkaline and acidic. Many studies have concluded that acidity is harmful to the body and also to the teeth. While the United States and other developed countries of the world have easy access to water that is clean and safe, this is not the case elsewhere. A study in Indonesia has shown that a lack of quality, clean drinking water can actually affect teeth. Indonesian children in the study, all under the age of 10, had varying levels of tooth decay. Their drinking water was found to be lacking in fluoride, high in manganese and high in acidity. The benefits of tap water Despite the fact that developed countries around the world have easy access to water, tap water tends to have a bad reputation. Many people choose bottled drinking water, thinking it is healthier. In fact, this is usually not the case. Bottled water is not produced from a better quality source, so its acidity levels may be the same. In addition, bottled water does not contain fluoride, which is vital for healthy and strong teeth. Drinking only bottled water can lead to more dental problems unless fluoride is added. Tap water, on the other hand, contains this valuable component and is often quite alkaline, especially compared to most bottled varieties. Filtered water options Bottled water can be quite expensive, not to mention the impact of plastic on the environment. Filters attached directly to the tap give the illusion of healthier water at an affordable price. Unfortunately, the filtration process can remove fluoride and natural trace elements that are beneficial for both teeth and overall health. If the reports from your local water source are not the best and a filtration system is needed, there are some that can add fluoride back into the water's values after the process while still removing unwanted impurities. However, to ensure that the filtration system provides the nutrients required, it is essential to carefully study the various systems available. All in all, many people are frustrated by drinking tap water because of the potential contaminants and the perceived negative health effects. The reality is that the majority of developed cities offer tap water that is safe and tastes good, giving you all the minerals and nutrients you need to keep your body and mouth healthy."
