Dr. József Fürstner graduated as a dentist from Semmelweis University, Budapest, in 1992. He continued his studies at the Pierre et Marie Curie University in Paris, where he graduated in Implantology, Periodontology and Oral Rehabilitation.
In 1995, he completed a specialist examination in dental and oral diseases at the Imre Haynal University of Health Sciences in Budapest. He then completed a course in dental implantology at the University of Würtzburg. For the next 5 years, he worked as a clinical practitioner at the SOTE Periodontology Clinic in Budapest (under Prof. Dr. István Gera). In 1996, he founded the Institut de Biotechnologies Dentaires with Dr. Jean Claude Ifi.
To further his knowledge, in 1998 he took a course at the University of Gothenburg in Sweden where he learned about the Bränemark System. He then graduated from the Cam-Log Implant System in Stuttgart, Germany in 2004.
Between 2001 and 2005 he worked as a periodontist at VitalCenter Dentistry, Margaret Island, and from 2008 he was an implantologist in London for 5 years at Forest&Ray.
From 2005 to 2014, he was head of the dental department at First Med Clinic and founder and head of Fürstner Dentistry.
